Democracy is democratic in that it only lets that whatever will happen, happens. And for Americans in the 21st Century, it means that money has to hide behind the ideals of anyone else or LBJ . All the commendable prattle was eviscerated from the Constitution, and now that all pretenses about human rights are stripped from the Bill of Rights, capitalism and cash have appeared to take preeminence in the democratic procedure. Democracy is held by cash quickly by the throat. LBJ and Kennedy were only two odd men out. And idealism did not work out nicely for Carter.
